摘要: Expression of hippocalcin and neural visinin-like calcium-binding protein 2 (NVP2) in aging rat brain was investigated by immunoblot immunohistochemical analyses. In 3-month old rats, NVP2 were present at high concentrations hippocampal cerebral pyramidal cells dentate granule cells, with levels being five to ten times higher than levels. Hippocalcin hippocampus cortex decreased approximately 20% 24 months. While the number hippocalcin-positive CA3, gyrus preserved, staining intensity decreased. contrast, CA1 maintained. 30% cortex, NVP2-positive through CA3 gyrus, cell numbers but summary, loss may be associated age-related impairment postsynaptic functions.
