Effect of Particle Size on the Electrophoretic Deposition of Hydroxyapatite Coatings: A Kinetic Study Based on a Statistical Analysis

摘要: This work reports on the effect of particle size electrophoretic deposition (EPD) kinetics submicrometer and nano-sized hydroxyapatite (HA) employing a design experiments strategy namely as response surface methodology (RSM). Zeta potential measurements analysis were used to study electrostatic interaction between HA particles in an ethanol-based suspension. The results under constant DC voltages showed lower rate for coating. Furthermore, effects voltage time EPD coatings quantified via RSM based central composite (CCD).
