摘要: Abstract Photovoltaic/Thermal (PV/T) systems are identified as attractive renewable energy technologies for residential and commercial building applications. They provide higher conversion efficiency better space utilization than independent photovoltaic (PV) solar thermal systems. The collector design choice of backsheet utmost importance meeting the long-term reliability, life performance a PV/T system. Generally, Copper (Cu)/Aluminum (Al) Tedlar-Polyester-Tedlar (TPT) utilized design, whereas glass is also potential material having specific advantages. present work analyzes refrigerant-based system with three materials namely Glass, TPT Cu using validated numerical model. It was found that has low cell temperature, provides highest coefficient (COP). Besides, effect packing factor thickness on temperature COP studied reported.
