摘要: Manufacturing and assembly processes often require objects to be held in such a way that they can resist all external wrenches. The problem of " xture planning" is compute, for given object set xturing elements, the placements elements constrain nite nitesimal motions (due applied wrenches). As problems occur frequently manufacturing assembly, it becomes costly build dedicated solution each di erent problem. Modular toolkits o er advantage reusability have therefore gained considerable popularity. A modular toolkit consists table with rectangular grid holes, whose positions are restricted holes table. Several recent publications eld planning aim at exploring power these toolkits. We give an overview non-modular various types sets elements.
