摘要: Data are limited on oncogene mutation frequencies in polyps from principally asymptomatic participants of population-based colorectal cancer screening studies. In this study, DNA 204 polyps, 5 mm or larger, were collected 176 the NORCCAP study and analyzed for mutations KRAS, BRAF, PIK3CA including rarely studied KRAS exons 3 4 mutations. identified 23.0% lesions significantly associated with tubulovillous adenomas large size. A higher frequency females was codon 12. The exon constituted 23.4% positive lesions, which is a larger proportion compared to previous observations cancer. BRAF 11.3% serrated polyps. None individuals diagnosed de novo recurrent during follow-up time (median 11.2 years). Revealing differences mutation-spectra according gender stages tumorigenesis might be important optimal use oncogenes as therapeutic targets biomarkers.
