摘要: A partial sequence of the cytb gene (382 bp) was amplified and sequenced from 35 individuals (mainlymuseum specimens) genus Pernis representing all valid taxa (10) two (P. p. gurneyi, P. japonicus) with questionable validityas well as representatives Old World Perninae, namely Henicopernis Aviceda, to assess their relationships Pernis. Furthermore, Gypaetus barbatus, Neophron percnopterus, Buteo buteo were included outgroup taxa. In trees derived data, Aviceda represents sister group The vultures andNeophron appear rather distantlyrelated Within Pernis, described species (Pernis apivorus, ptilorhyncus) form monophyletic groups, whereas clades three subspecies celebensis are still uncertain. Although this studyis based on comparativelyshort DNA-sections, deduced these sequences can be considered a first approach for inferring phylogenetic related genera addressing questions concerning evolutionary history, biogeography, systematics group.
