Pathogen surveillance in animals

摘要: The current level of global vigilance for emerging infections is inadequate because surveillance wild and domestic animals--the main source infections--shows large gaps poorly integrated with public health surveillance. In this Policy Forum, a group authors from key national international organizations urges the World Health Organization, United Nations Food Agriculture Organization Animal to join forces design implement animal system zoonotic pathogens. This should provide opportunities control such pathogens before they can affect human health, food supply, economies, or biodiversity.
