摘要: Office firms represent a large share of economic activities, especially in the sector professional services. In general, will follow an evolutionary cycle comprising dynamics starting-up, finding location to establish their business, growing or declining, relocating and going out business. The underlying approach taken this research project relies on idea that evolution office is strongly influenced by urban environment. Traditionally, specific relationship between transportation land use has been examined framework aggregate integrated use-transportation (LUTI) models. However, field moving toward more disaggregate approach, based concepts micro simulation agent-based These are built behaviorally richer for examining firm dynamics, such as demography. aim contribute emerging developing modeling simulate time space. To end, set statistical/econometric models used investigate relationships demographic processes contributes existing literature focusing demography related influences, exploring alternative approaches model empirically, using very detailed nationwide data from Netherlands.
