摘要: We develop a theoretical framework for analyzing and modeling activity choice by individuals households. The theory assumes that activities are driven limited universal set of human needs. needs grow autonomously over time according to logistic curve with parameters depending on the nature need. Activities may have an impact several at same time. assume utility is equal sum satisfied minus induced developed can explain substitution complementary relationships between activities, state-dependency variety seeking behavior. show how utilities discrete continuous regarding duration, interval timing, task allocation, travel, location other facets be derived from basic principles.
