摘要: A theoretical analysis is made of the effect an external perturbation, such as electric field, magnetic or stress, on optical properties color centers. Our restricted to centers with orbital singlet ground states. It especially applicable orbitally degenerate excited states which are interacting strongly lattice, $F$ center in alkali halides. We describe changes by computing moments absorption line shape that occur when perturbation applied. The zeroth, first, second, and third may be computed quite simply. Although this does not give detailed change shape, it provides a precise method for evaluating parameters center, spin-orbit coupling constant state center. use our analyze experiments circular dichroism, Faraday rotation, Stark effect, Voigt stress-induced dichroism $A$ By analyzing circular-dichroism stress-induced-dichroism data band, we able first time evaluate contributions broadening band cubic noncubic lattice-vibrational modes. have analyzed Margerie Romestain CsBr CsCl. resolves discrepancy between their two methods determining splitting (measurement peak separation measurement dichroism), shows arises from combination large interaction.
