Caching the results of security policy functions

摘要: A fine-grained access control mechanism uses policy functions that are associated with a database object (e.g. table and view). The invoked, when, for example, server detects query is issued against the object. value of function remains constant under certain conditions. For once brought up, may remain same. Users can specify conditions which constant. Based on this information, when computed while processing query, caches function. When another requires function, retrieves result from cache rather than re-computing as long condition persists.
