Laparoscopic cholecystectomy under spinal anesthesia: a study of 3492 patients.

摘要: Abstract Objectives: Spinal anesthesia (SA) for laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) is only contemplated in patients where general (GA) contraindicated. In this paper, we present our experience of over 12 years performing cholecystectomy, primarily under spinal anesthesia. Methods: Over the last years, LC was done SA 3492 patients. There no modifications technique, as compared to same procedure GA. The intra-abdominal pressure kept at 8–10 mm Hg. Sedation given, if required, and conversion GA not responding sedation or with failure SA. Results were those 538 undergoing Results: Eighteen (0.52%) required a Hypotension requiring support recorded 700 (20.05%) patients, 429 (12.29%) experienced neck and/or shoulder pain. Overall, 2.29% (80) had vomiting postoperative period, 30.30% (163 patients)...
