摘要: Abstract The immobilization of antibodies to sensor surfaces is critical in biochemical development. In this study, Jeffamine spacers were employed tether Escherichia coli K99 pilus antibody AlN/sapphire which may allow the freely reorient and potentially improving antigen capture efficiency. Spacer density was one key parameters be optimized studying its effect on antibody. spacer controlled by functionalizing with a mixed (3-glycidyloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane (GPTMS) trichloro(1 H ,1 ,2 -perfluoroctyl)silane (FAS) self-assembled monolayer (SAM) through step-wise method. Contact angle measurement X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) used characterize surface coverage GPTMS chemical composition. Compared fully covered samples, efficiency improved ∼28% optimal ED 600 density, depends properties such as number monomer units size.
