摘要: The characterization of the electrical surface properties Aquacoat, a polymer latex great interest in pharmaceutical sciences, is described. technique used electrophoresis. Analysis was carried out effect pH, electrolyte and surfactant concentration on electrophoretic mobility particles. Increasing pH dispersion medium provokes monotonous increase value negative mobility. electrolytes LiCl, KCl NaCl give rise to larger mobilities when their solution increased up ca. 10−3 M, similar behavior found presence Na2SO4. raising CaCl2 decrease absolute as consequence double layer compression. Sodium dodecyl sulphate seems adsorb particle increasing its charge, but close M saturation appears take place, an approximately constant suggested by data, whatever medium. Finally, variations with LaCl3 indicate adsorption La3+ cation it hydrolyzed (pH≥5), whereas non-hydrolyzed lanthanum has little charge.
