摘要: This study was aimed to design a simple and novel prototype device for the production of polymeric microparticles. To prove effectiveness this device, benznidazole microparticles using chitosan as carrier NaOH, KOH, or SLS counter ions were used. For comparison, prepared by conventional dripping technique (syringe gauge) same excipients. Microparticles characterized in terms encapsulation efficiency, particle shape, size surface topography, crystallinity characteristics, thermal behavior, dissolution rate. Then, pharmacokinetic parameters evaluated after oral administration healthy Wistar rats. The formulations, means showed good drug efficiency (> 70%). Release studies revealed an increased from device. It achieved more than 90% 60 min, while those raw 65% 68%, respectively, during period. Almost spherical with smooth around 10–30 μm observed scanning electron microscopy. Thermal analysis X-ray diffraction suggested partial reduction crystallinity. Moreover, relative bioavailability that area under curve microencapsulated 10.3 times higher drug. Thus, these findings indicate designed glass is useful alternative formulate improved biopharmaceutical properties could be other therapeutic microparticulate systems.
