摘要: Managing multiple ecosystem services is a complex task that involves special interactions among different resources, services, and stakeholders. Mexican forests have been traditionally managed for the single purpose of obtaining wood, benefiting small sector society. In this study, we evaluated various namely carbon content, tree diversity, surface water runoff, net present value timber production. We also attempted to determine most suitable basal area level best satisfies management these combined. Bivariate correlations, non-linear regression models, multiobjective decision-making technique are used analyze data in study. Results indicate trade-offs exist between runoff area. A synergistic relationship, content with area, was observed. Tree diversity has relationship open forests, but trade-off denser forests. The preferred forest desired 17 21 m2/ha residual hope adopting study can cement collaborative strategies resource managers, landowners, environmental groups, others interested management.
