Professional Nursing Communication Competence: Theoretical procedures for instrument development and pilot test.

摘要: AIMS To describe the theoretical procedures for development of Professional Nursing Communication Competence instrument, determine content validity and pilot test application. BACKGROUND Measuring instruments must be developed in accordance with context communication process by adopting based on competence structures to support quality patient-centred care nursing management. METHODS A methodological study was employed. The instrument using content-validated construct 33 theories followed semantic analysis experts. tested over three phases: before lecture professional competence, after simulation scenario experience debriefing. RESULTS showed an extremely high agreement (CVI = 0.99). Linear regression suggested domains 46-item comprising knowledge (18 items), skills (12 items) attitudes (16 items). CONCLUSION found measure a reliability contexts processes through strategy. IMPLICATIONS FOR NURSING MANAGEMENT educators, managers staff can adopt (IMC-CPE) improve effectiveness level knowledge, reduce misunderstanding among team members health errors.
