摘要: Abstract Background: A keloid is a benign tumor that contains excess collagen, primarily type I collagen. common therapy intralesional injection of glucocorticosteroid, such as triamcinolone acetonide (TA). Surgical excision also common; often glucocorticosteroid injected weeks after when wound repair has already begun. Objective: Our purpose was to determine the efficacy TA in reducing pro-α1(I) collagen mRNA dermis, into bed immediately surgical keloid. Methods: Six patients with previously untreated keloids were studied. Three treated 10 mg/ml (experimental group); other three not until 2 (control). Punch biopsy specimens obtained from TA-treated sites removal and wounds control group before they TA. Sections prepared for situ hybridization analysis mRNA, well histochemical fibers. Results: All showed greatly elevated levels dermis. Postsurgical expressed decreased transcripts, compared skin The bundles thinner less dense skin. Conclusion: Downregulation gene expression elicited by immediate excision. This suggests prevention recurrent growth possible if accompanied healing apparently compromised inhibition expression.
