摘要: This chapter presents an overview of recent epidemiologic studies that address the association between atopic diseases and IgE risk hematopoietic cancers, including a discussion potential biological mechanisms. The strongest most consistent (inverse) associations have been observed allergic conditions childhood leukemia, especially acute lymphoblastic leukemia. cumulative evidence for inverse atopy non-Hodgkin lymphoma is suggestive, but inconsistency with specific types conditions, lack any in cohort studies, correlation timing diagnosis decreasing levels warrant further clarification. No has found supporting either plasma cell neoplasms or Hodgkin lymphoma.
