摘要: Combined simulation-optimization models have been widely used to address the management of water resources issues. This paper presents a model for conjunctive use surface and groundwater at basin-wide scale, Zayandehrood river basin in west central Iran. In basin, past 10 years, historical low rainfall head combined with growing demand water, has triggered great changes irrigation system level. The that coupled numerical simulation nonlinear optimization is minimize shortages meeting demands four systems. Constraints guarantee maximum/minimum cumulative drawdown maximum capacity A support vector machines (SVMs) developed as simulator interaction while genetic algorithm (GA) model. Conjunctive runs three scenarios. Results show accuracy SVMs good it possible decrease shortage systems application proposed SVMs-GA
