FAMILIAL NATURE OF CONGENITAL HEART DISEASES

摘要: A two-year investigation of 517 families selected through a proband having congenital heart disease suggests higher frequency familial than has been reported before. Many previously undiagnosed parents and siblings the probands were discovered by simple method listening to their hearts. Although figures 3.4% affected sibs 1.8% are presented, it is emphasized that these used only call attention high diseases. The not suggested as empiric risks because "congenital disease" more appropriately category diseases discrete disease.
