摘要: Abstract An investigation into the structure of premixed Bunsen flames was performed to determine whether by using laser velocimetry an unambiguous means measuring laminar flame speed could be devised and provide data which theoreticians critically evaluate their predictions. Data presented for former include axisymmetric flow field a comparison cone angles obtained from direct schlieren photographs flame. latter include, varying equivalence ratios angles, radius curvature tip change in velocity through tip. The centerline found decay as function axial distance, noncoincidence luminous surfaces observed. When normalized preheat thickness (based on harmonic mean thermal conductivity), behavior compared well with recent theoretical prediction.
