摘要: The synthesis of thermoplastics with high refractive index (n) and Abbe's number (Vd) is rarely reported. This work describes well-controlled a soluble poly(monothiocarbonate) n Vd values by using carbonyl sulfide (COS) as source sulfur. alternating COS/cyclohexene oxide (CHO)/propylene (PO) terpolymerization was performed tetradentate Schiff base chromium chloride complex (SalenCrCl) bis(triphenylphosphoranylidene) ammonium (PPNCl) catalyst at 40 °C, yielding terpolymers 100% selectivity based on the 1H NMR spectra. turnover frequency (TOF) SalenCrCl/PPNCl system 323 h−1 for COS/PO/CHO °C. possess number-average molecular weight (Mn) up to 22.3 kg mol−1 narrow polydispersity (PDI) 1.16. These exhibited indices 1.55–1.56. Of importance, varying feed ratio PO CHO, resulting adjustable from 32.1 43.1, glass-transition temperature (Tg) varied 43.7 93.4 might be used optical plastics tailored thermal properties.
