摘要: The semicrystalline poly(monothiocarbonate)s were prepared by the copolymerization of carbonyl sulfide (COS) and ethylene oxide, an achiral epoxide, using a bifunctional chromium(III) complex as catalyst. resultant copolymer, possessing perfectly alternating structure, high molecular weight, narrow polydispersity, has melting temperature 128.2 °C, with enthalpy up to 75.44 J/g. Moreover, ABA triblock copolymer containing “hard” poly(ethylene monothiocarbonate) (A) “soft” amorphous poly(propylene (B) is synthesized stepwise addition epoxides. tensile testing demonstrates may have potential thermoplastic elastomer.
