摘要: This paper presents an overview of the latest transform and quantization designs for H.26L. Unlike popular discrete cosine (DCT) used in previous standards, transforms H.26L can be computed exactly integer arithmetic, thus avoiding inverse mismatch problems. The new also without multiplications, just additions shifts, 16-bit minimizing computational complexity, especially low-end processors. By using short tables, formulas use multiplications but avoid divisions.
