摘要: Abstract Biophysical conditions and in particular soil are generally seen as important determinants of land use receive much emphasis both planning attempts to understand actual patterns. This paper explores the justification for this emphasis. Based on a study farmers' decisions regarding type (forest, pasture, fallow or crop) crop choice Colombian Andes, shows that despite detailed knowledge diverse area, other factors, such total farm size market input-related concerns, more crop.
