摘要: The electrochemical oxidation of glycine at a Pt electrode was investigated in aqueous solutions pH 1 and 13 using steady-state current–potential measurements, cyclic voltammetry, open circuit potential decay. capacitance behaviour the high Tafel slopes suggest production free radicals surface accompanied by second reaction involving loss CO2 which is rate determining step. In electro-oxidation glycine, it appears that adsorbed intermediate species either hydrolyzed anodically to formaldehyde ammonia, or oxidized carbonium ion subsequently ammonia solution.
