摘要: This article examines four leading multi-stakeholder labour monitoring organizations. All operating in the maquiladora industry, these organizations are viewed light of growing global trend toward industry self-regulation, or what has been referred to as ‘global out-sourcing regulation’. Their Board compositions, codes conduct and enforcement strategies all examined a means tentatively positioning along an ‘egoist-instrumentalist-moralist’ ethical culture continuum. Such framing provides insights into perceived salience organizations’ broader stakeholders, effectiveness on workplace practices more generally, role that ethics plays governance accountability increasingly important types
