摘要: Several epidemiologic studies have shown the association between total leukocyte count and risk of developing myocardial infarction. The purpose this study was to assess neutrophil counts factors ischemic heart disease in 1, 384 Japanese factory workers. Total were significantly higher current smokers than non-smokers. Among smokers, positively associated with number cigarettes smoked daily duration cigarette smoking alcohol consumption. Being independent habit, also related several characteristics recorded at physical examinations. serum cholesterol, triglyceride hematocrit levels, inversely HDL-cholesterol level. No significant associations or found red blood cell hemoglobin These results suggest that may represent metabolic condition a high coronary among apparently healthy people.
