Evaluation and Policy Research on the Sustainable Development of China’s Rare Earth Resources

摘要: As rare earth resources are indispensable raw materials for modern society, they have become strategic global reserve resources. Even though China is the world’s largest producer and exporter of earth, industry has low efficiency severe problems with over-exploitation environmental pollution; therefore, there needs to be a greater focus on sustainable exploitation This paper establishes an innovative evaluation index system development China’s from six main aspects; economic development, social progress, protection, technological innovation, utilization, protection in which indicators assessed using entropy method. Grey correlation analysis was used evaluate level 2006–2016, it found that poor 2006–2010 marginally better 2011–2016. The factor affecting lag environment system. Policy recommendations improving innovation proposed guide government regulations assist personnel.
