摘要: Abstract The present study investigated the effect of zinc powder on microstructure and mechanical properties Al–Mg alloy friction surfaced an AA5052 aluminum substrate. was applied to coating through insertion hole in consumable rod. addition Zn greatly increases thermal stability reduces kinetic grain growth. Considering a linear approximation between size heat treatment time, growth rate containing free is approximately 0.55 μm/h 1.46 μm/h, respectively. Based XRD results pre condition sample powder, iron-rich particles Mg2Si, MgZn Mg7Zn3 formed. longtime solid solution aging result AlMg4Zn11 precipitates coted sample. After 8 h treatment, hardness reaches 70.14 BHN, which shows increase 14% as compared before treatment.
