摘要: Transportation and health inequities have been subjects of study by scholars from various disciplines, but the linkages among traffic exposure, race, class, asthma is neither sufficient nor conclusive. Previous studies suggest that relationships are multifaceted geographically specific. We investigate neighborhood social transportation impacts on childhood disparities in Tarrant County, Texas, using geographical information systems. Results reveal distinctive socio-demographic characteristics patients; clear spatial patterns neighborhoods with without hospitalizations; significant contextual effects density, class hospitalizations. The findings generally support notion effects.
