摘要: Purpose: To evaluate the level of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2 and MMP-9 activities in patients with steroid induced posterior subcapsular cataract (PSC). Methods: This prospective, observational study comprised 156 having either PSC (n=50) or non-steroidal (n=106) were performed to MMP-2 lens epithelial cells (LECs) serum. Anterior capsules harboring LECs obtained during phacoemulsification peripheral blood was collected from before administration anesthesia. Serum separated by centrifugation at 10,000× g for 15 min 4 °C. The serum samples processed analyze using succinylated gelatin assay. Quantitative real time-PCR (qRT–PCR) determine mRNA levels LECs. expressed as a ratio, delta-delta method comparing relative expression results between cases PSC. also compared two groups immunolocalization.
