摘要: Giardia intestinalis is a protozoan parasite that colonizes the upper part of small intestine its mammalian hosts. The trophozoite, which replicative stage, has complex cytoskeleton allows it to move and adhere intestinal cells. It been proposed protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) participates in regulation changes during life cycle. However, how PP2A involved this remains unclear since substrates regulators have not characterized. In work, we report bioinformatic experimental analysis two potential regulatory B″ subunits Giardia, both are calcium-binding proteins. silico evidence binding proteins calcium presented; shown interact with catalytic subunit trophozoite they exhibit different subcellular localization patterns. Because heterotrimer, homology indicates fewer holoenzyme combinations can be formed than other organisms. Our results suggest may associated calcium-dependent signaling through type subunits.
