摘要: Background Previous studies suggest that children with Down's syndrome (DS), a genetically based neurodevelopmental disorder, demonstrate motor problems and cognitive deficits. The first aim of this study was to examine skills executive functions (EFs) in school-age DS. second investigate the relationship between these two performance domains. Methods The Test Gross Motor Development (TGMD-2), Movement Assessment Battery Children-2 checklist (MABC2-checklist) Trail-Making for young (Trails-P) were used assess performances 18 (11 boys, 7 girls) DS aged 11 years (9.06 ± 0.96) an age- sex-matched sample typically developing (TD) girls; 8.99 ± 0.93). Results Individuals showed expected difficulties attentional control, response suppression distraction, as well locomotor object control skills, indicated by poorer than TD individuals. (bottom-up top-down measures) EF correlated positively, regard group only though. In most complex task (distraction), achieving lower scores efficacy on Trails-P. Additionally, strong relationships found perspective teachers all sections MABC2-Checklist EF. Conclusion The findings from are not impaired higher-order EF, but showing also deficits skills. This stresses importance early interventions facilitating abilities
