摘要: Semen samples from 179 patients with longstanding infertility were allowed to penetrate capillaries filled a fraction of fresh hens' egg white (HEW) as substitute for cervical mucus (CM) the in-vitro sperm-cervical penetration test (SCPMT). Results correlated those obtained human CM (HCM) used in parallel on same semen sample, compared results sperm analysis and post-coital testing (PCT) analysed their prognostic value subsequent pregnancy prospective study. The overall rate after 6 months was 26.3% (47/179). Whereas routine (semen volume, pH, count, progressive motility, morphology fructose concentration) did not differentiate between who achieved not, significant differences found distance (P less than 0.02) motility grade HEW 0.02). Although mean velocity reduced HCM, close positive correlation density 0.001). percentage good increased significantly better indicate that, when is available, can be medium SCPMT valuable adjunct which provides information about functional capacity.
