Materials Methods: Disability data published report (2002) National Sample Survey Organization were analyzed, using Z -test to measure differences prevalence. Spearman rho was calculated determine strength direction association, regression analysis used predict rate, based on population settings. Results: Overall, India has 10.5/1000 ID. Urban slightly higher rate (11/1000) than (10.08/1000; P = 0.044). Age found be highly correlated (ϱ =0.981, 0.019) as well −0.954, 0.000) adults −0.957, population. The possibility confounding or existence covariates settings noted. Conclusion: Results this match findings epidemiological studies. However, multistage, large-scale studies are recommended investigating rates different severity levels
