摘要: Abstract Leachates are well known as a particular sort of problematic wastewater, both from the viewpoint ecotoxicity and treatment technique. municipal waste deposits, biologically pre-cleaned, were treated subsequently by photochemical oxidation using three different UV sources. The reactor concept was based on ‘continuous circuit reactor’ with back-mixing thin film. power 84 kW/m 3 for low pressure mercury lamp, 100 kW/m middle 30 kW/m vacuum lamp. ratio chemical oxygen demand (COD) BOD 5 reduced ca. 230 to 3–4 (in case lamp) 6 (middle lamp). After stage, leachate in an additional step activated sludge plant. this biological values COD, BOD, AOX decreased further below threshold defined legislative regulation.
