摘要: OBJECTIVES The combination of epidural electrical stimulation (EES) and serotonin agonists (5-HTA) effectively restores rhythmic lower-limb movements improves intraspinal hemodynamics after spinal cord injury (SCI). Nonetheless, whether EES + 5-HTA metabolism remains unclear. present study aimed to evaluate the effects on in SCI rats. MATERIALS AND METHODS Wireless EES (WEES) implantation with complete T8 transection was performed Electrodes were placed at T12 L2 vertebral levels. After rest for a week, rats received 11 weeks WEES + 5-HTA treatment treadmill training. WEES switched off each daily Locomotor function evaluated by motion capture week 12. Positron emission tomography-computed tomography conducted basal when assess task on. RESULTS With locomotor recovery training 11 weeks, conjointly improved (vs. intervention alone; p < 0.05) linearly modulated frequency-dependent manner (R2 = 0.8901). Furthermore, 60 Hz identified as threshold extensive activation cord's below plane (p < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS could restore healthy level modulate adjusting frequency.
