摘要: The authors used cross-lagged analyses to examine the across-time influences on and consequences of adolescents' pregnancy intentions, wantedness, regret. One hundred pregnant Latina adolescents were studied during at 6 12 months postpartum. results revealed 4 main findings: (a) similar what has been found in adult women, lower prenatal intendedness wantedness predicted initial difficulties parenting; (b) frequent depression symptoms subsequent wantedness; (c) poor mental health harsh parenting their child higher childbearing regret, (d) high regret stress reciprocally related across time. In addition, declined prenatally postbirth, strong not concurrently health. findings reveal how thoughts feelings about pregnancies are influenced by predictive experiences.
