摘要: If an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is used within a ΣΔ such that the loop filter mixed signal, then ADC does not need to have full resolution of converter, and its input values will be uniformly distributed over range. In this paper, we argue best distribution use as general model maximum-entropy (for location parameters: Gaussian distribution). We describe externally linear with non-linearly spaced decision boundaries implemented in 0.6μm CMOS show measurement results 19-bit dynamic range accelerometer inside which reaches more than required 7-bit performance only 26 levels.
