摘要: AbstractThis study draws evidence from 180 respondents who were beneficiaries of the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) programme with underpinning objective whether LEAP are able to acquire other productive livelihood assets. Descriptive research involving both quantitative and qualitative methods used. The used questionnaires focus group discussions obtain data respondents. Data analysed using descriptive statistics SPSS version 17.0 presented by tables percentage counts. found that do not have preferable assets needed expand their options, largely due low amount paid coupled irregularity payment. paper therefore recommends there should be empowerment capacities through incorporation skills capability development into programme.
