摘要: We investigated the association between physiologic bowel FDG uptake and gut microbiota. in normal large small intestine is widely variable both distribution intensity. The etiology of 18F-FDG activity remains unknown. included 63 healthy male subjects. After overnight fasting, blood samples PET/CT scans were taken. Fecal collected, microbiota analyzed by 16S rRNA gene-pyrosequencing. was classified into three groups visual assessment measured using maximum mean standardized value. used total to liver ratio (TBRmax TBRmean). There no significant difference age, BMI, or lipid profiles groups. To identify specific microbial taxa associated with while accounting for age we performed a generalized linear model. At genus level, group focal intense low abundance unclassified Clostridiales. intestinal lower than high Klebsiella. TBRmax TBRmean negatively Enterobacteriaceae. cautiously speculate that might be caused an increase permeability may reflect impaired barrier function intestine.
