摘要: Object Various lesions occur in deep locations or at the skull base pediatric patients and require approaches for resection. Skull surgery confers advantages of improved line sight, a wider operative corridor, reduced brain retraction. The posterior petrosal approach provides simultaneous access to middle fossa from top clivus level jugular foramen. It allows visualization ventrolateral brainstem may be combined with various other supra- infratentorial approaches, thus giving surgeon wide array routes lesion.
