Clear up the Mist : Contested Ecotourism Discourses in Protected Areas in China

摘要: This paper discusses ecotourism discourses and realities in China. As is always related with protected areas (PAs) China, this will focus on the relationship between PAs. Although Government at various levels dictates course of development PAs, NGOs are another active force PAs. Both advocate PAs because a highly exemplary form sustainable development. However, implementation has displayed an unsatisfactory picture China Widespread environmental destruction frequent.
