摘要: This paper discusses ecotourism discourses and realities in China. As is always related with protected areas (PAs) China, this will focus on the relationship between PAs. Although Government at various levels dictates course of development PAs, NGOs are another active force PAs. Both advocate PAs because a highly exemplary form sustainable development. However, implementation has displayed an unsatisfactory picture China Widespread environmental destruction frequent. Through comparative study discourses, respectively that Chinese government, using interview materials, internet news reports, finds contested discourse China’s Pa, which small scale along line international conservation, whereas central government promotes mass prime purpose pursuing economic development; addition, contradictions appear central government local still recognizes importance environmental explicitly left out government. The case Wanglang illustrate competition ecotourism. Ecotourism still faces tough times ahead, ecotourism, and, absence compromises interests from all concerned parties, confused continue to prevail.
