摘要: Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is an angiogenic secreted by various tumors, including epithelial tumors of the ovary, and involved in tumor progression maintenance. The significance function other members VEGF family ovary has not yet been elucidated. In present study, we have defined expression mRNA encoding VEGF-B, VEGF-C, placenta (PIGF), compared with that mRNA, normal a range ovarian tumors. Analysis reverse transcription-PCR indicated (isoforms 121 165), VEGF-B 167 186), but PIGF, were all tissues examined. By situ hybridization, neither VEGF-C nor PIGF transcripts detected any samples. pattern was generally similar to readily cells histologic types carcinoma, could be or benign epithelium. Specific differences two genes noted areas necrosis, which further enhanced, sample strongly expressed tumor-associated macrophages did hybridize riboprobe mRNA. These results imply second member family, may play significant role angiogenesis, progression, maintenance carcinomas.
