A comprehensive study on irrigation management in Asia and Oceania

摘要: The aim of this paper was to study the land use index (equipped area for irrigation per cultivated area, AI) and management in Asia Oceania during past decades. For purpose, all necessary information collected from Food Agriculture Organization United Nations (FAO). Among presented data FAO database, 10 indices were selected. These analysed 64 countries Oceania, extent AI estimated by two different methods other 9 indices. results show that using indices, value relative error will be less than 20%. Prioritization has shown national rainfall (NRI) difference between NRI water requirement had a highlighted effect on estimation AI.
