摘要: Current challenge in the inpainting domain is regard to large object removal and region-filling thereafter. Problems get even more complex when colour. In literature, several attempts have been made achieve perceptually satisfying results which are technically semantically valid. All these techniques can be grouped under statistical, PDE-based exemplar-based methods. Among techniques, approaches gaining popularity on account of their computational efficiency visually pleasing results. Original contribution this direction due a seminal paper by Criminisi et al. This has led number novel contributions terms patch filling prioritization associated metrics measure colour structure. paper, we propose fast simple technique based gradient function evaluate order prioritization. Despite its simplicity, experimental demonstrate superior performance over all recent advances quoted literature.
