Discovering miRNAs, their targets further inferring functions had become routine process to comprehend the biological processes miRNAs roles in plant development. In this study, we used homology-based analysis with available expressed sequence tag finger millet (Eleusine coracana) predict conserved miRNAs. Three potent targeting 88 genes were identified. The newly identified found be homologous miR166 miR1310. recognized transcription factors enzymes, GO showed these played varied gene regulation. identification is anticipated hasten pace key epigenetic regulators
