摘要: Abstract Background Fibroblast activation protein alpha (FAP) is a membrane-bound serine protease expressed by activated fibroblasts after myocardial infarction (MI). Reduced circulating FAP levels were associated with increased mortality in patients acute coronary syndrome. We hypothesized that concentrations are altered ST-elevation MI (STEMI), and related to damage. Methods measured blood plasma of 60 on admission, day 1, 3 5 STEMI, 25 apparently healthy donors as controls. Results Plasma lower STEMI admission (71ng/mL) than (101ng/mL, P When stratified according the absolute amount change from (ΔFAP), high ΔFAP (−22ng/mL) had worse left ventricular function, higher hs-cTnT, CK maximum CRP low (−3ng/mL). Conclusions Our study first demonstrates alterations acutely STEMI. A greater decline 5days damage inflammation. Measurement might help better understand relation injury inflammatory response individual patient.
